"Powerbar, but make it full of flavor"

Sweet, spicy, and full of energy – these spiced protein chunks are the perfect snack for any moment! They’re not only incredibly delicious but also packed with valuable nutrients that give you the energy you need – whether it’s after a workout, while working, or just in between.

The combination of oats, plant-based protein, and spices like cinnamon and cardamom makes this snack a true flavor experience. And the best part? You don’t even need to turn on the oven! Just mix all the ingredients in a bowl, press into shape, chill, drizzle with melted chocolate, and enjoy.

PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

I love this recipe because it’s so versatile. Instead of peanut butter, you can use tahini, or try almond butter for a creamier texture. For the nuts, you can use walnuts, almonds, or cashews – or even add dried berries for a fruity touch. In winter, it tastes especially great with cinnamon and cardamom, while in summer, you can switch it up with vanilla and shredded coconut. This way, you can adjust it to your liking and enjoy it in a new way every time!

  1. Mix all ingredients: Place the oats, protein powder, nut butter, agave syrup, and spices in a large bowl. Pour in the almond milk and mix everything thoroughly with your hands until a slightly sticky dough forms.
  2. Press into a mold: Press the mixture into a flat baking or cake pan – the more evenly, the better!
  3. Melt chocolate & top: Melt the vegan chocolate and spread it evenly over the mixture. A little sea salt on top gives the snack the perfect finishing touch and enhances the sweetness.
  4. Chill & cut: Place the pan in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the mixture to set. Then, simply cut into small squares or bars and enjoy!
