"Warm indulgence

with extra benefits"

Hot chocolate is more than just a drink – it's a hug from the inside, a little break from daily life, and when made right, even a true superfood. Especially in the colder months, a cup of dark cocoa can not only warm the soul but also benefit both body and mind.

Dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa is rich in flavonoids – valuable antioxidants that have been shown to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and even support the cardiovascular system. What's also particularly interesting: Dark cocoa can boost your well-being. It encourages the production of serotonin, the so-called happiness hormone – a true mood booster, especially in the darker months. People who menstruate particularly benefit from the minerals in cocoa, such as magnesium and iron, which can help stabilize energy levels and regulate cravings during certain phases of the cycle.

My recipe for a cup of hot chocolate combines orange, high-quality dark chocolate, and warm, aromatic spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and a pinch of chili.

It’s not only a feast for the senses but also a little wellness treatment in liquid form. So, get cozy, grab a warm blanket, and savor every sip!

PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION

If you prefer it a bit more luxurious, top your hot chocolate with a dollop of vegan whipped cream and garnish it with some chocolate shavings.
